Integrated Management System for Oil Depot Areas

Time:2025-06-28

The system employs radar level transmitters to measure the liquid level in oil tanks, with data transmitted to the central system via the PROFIBUS DP network. Multipoint average temperature transmitters monitor temperatures through the MODBUS network. Temperature data is utilized for density compensation, and the SCADA software processes real-time data to calculate tank capacity and inventory levels. This information is then uploaded to the enterprise information management layer via industrial Ethernet, enabling daily reconciliation of receipts, sales, and inventory and generating various reports. Liquid level and temperature signals are used for real-time oil loading/unloading monitoring. Combined with mass flow meters (connected via PROFIBUS DP) and pneumatic ball valves, the system achieves fully automated oil loading/unloading operations. To address low local temperatures, an automatic pipeline purging function is implemented after each oil dispensing cycle. Since its deployment, the system has operated steadily and reliably.
