脱臭塔是利用油脂中的小分子臭味有机物在高温负压情况下比甘三酯更容易挥发，水蒸气通过含有臭味的油脂时，水蒸气被挥发的臭味组分所饱和，并按其分压的比例逸出，从而达到脱除臭味的目的。常见设备材质碳钢，不锈钢，合成填料、组合式填料脱臭塔。
